A birthday party fit for a Hello Kitty fan.  Kim Kardashian took to Instagram earlier this week to share a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from her daughter Chicago’s 5th birthday party that happened on January 15th.  As Kim calls her, Chi had a decked-out gala filled with pink, sparkles, and Hello Kitty.

The Skims founder wasted zero time when it came to putting the event together, and even her other children, North, Saint, and Psalm, helped with the festivities.  Bright balloons, abundant fresh flowers of various pinks, and Hello kitty-themed partyware made up the decorations.  For the activities, there was a giant ball and slide pit printed with Chicago’s name, color-in Hello Kitty banks at each table setting, and stuffed cats to “adopt.”  Hello Kitty even dropped in to wish Chicago a happy birthday.

Kim even wore a black fitted tee with “I love you Chicago” for her little girl’s big day.

“My little Chi Chi’s Hello Kitty Birthday party 💕,” Kim captioned the carousel.

The Kardashians’ personal chef, Chef K, provided all of the delicious goodies for the special occasion.  Among them are her signature pink vegan grilled cheese sandwiches stamped with the famous Sanrio character’s face, a ramen noodle bar, and a Hello Kitty birthday cake sliced and shared on Kitty party plates.  Chef K shared a close-up reel of the food on her Instagram.

We must ask, “Where did she get the pink cheese for the sandwiches?”  Any guesses?

The newly turned 5-year-old looked delighted as she blew out the candles with guests watching, including her grandma Kris and North.  As LA was drenched that day, Kim had the entire celebration inside her home.  The faulty weather did not damper the party mood.

Before the party took place, Kim shared a small photoshoot of her and her youngest daughter wearing matching pajamas and exchanging smiles in bed.

“My twin. Happy 5th Birthday.”  The mom of four wrote.  “I really can’t believe you’re 5!  I’m so so proud to be your mom, it’s the best feeling in the entire world.”

“You are the cuddliest sweetest silliest most independent caring girl in the whole world and I just love you so much!“
