Kim Kardashian pens essay on accepting Caitlyn Jenner
Kim Kardashian has a brand new website and she’s using it to write first-person blog posts for her fans. On Wednesday, Kim took to her website and penned a lengthy entry about the first time she saw her stepfather dressed in women’s clothes.
Back in May, Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired a two-part special called “About Bruce.” In the second part, Kim talked briefly about her first encounter with Caitlyn dressed in female clothing. Kardashian was just 21 years old at the time and the experience left her shocked and even a little confused.

Now Kim Kardashian is using her new website as a platform to talk about her experience. In the heartfelt post about the awkward encounter, Kim said that she hopes by opening up that she can help others to understand. Kim wrote, “Maybe my story can help anyone else experiencing something similar.”
Kim titled her new blog post “About Caitlyn” and talked in detail about her experience walking in on her stepfather in the garage of their Calabasas home. She said that the experience was so shocking that she immediately packed a pack and headed for Kourtney Kardashian’s house. After she left, Bruce called her and asked her to keep his secret. Bruce told Kim, “One day, we’ll talk about it.”

Kim and Bruce didn’t speak of the incident again for 9 more years. It wasn’t until Kim Kardashian was 30 years old before Bruce brought up the garage incident and explained to Kim that he felt trapped in the wrong body.
Kim went into great detail in her post about her experience with her stepfather Bruce becoming Caitlyn Jenner. She opened up about how confusing the transition was for her and how she initially thought Bruce just liked to wear women’s clothing. The love Kim has for her stepfather is apparent and her willingness to understand transgender issues will certainly help others who are struggling with similar issues.
