Kim Kardashian strikes back at the mommy shamers
Kim Kardashian isn’t letting the mommy shamers have the last word, even if she is a few weeks late.
Kim Kardashian shared a picture of her son Saint nearly two months ago and it didn’t take long for the mommy shamers to jump right into the comments. They wanted to share their two cents about how to be a better parent.
The mommy shamers wanted to let Kim know that Saint wasn’t sitting in his car seat properly. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was roasted for letting her son sit with the seat facing forward.
It turns out that Kim can ignore a lot of social media noise. However, when you talk about her kids or her parenting ability, Kanye’s wife is going to shut you down.

CNN reports that Kim finally had something to say about the mommy shamers, who felt that Saint needed to have his car seat adjusted asap.
“What people didn’t know is that Saint is now the weight and the height requirement to sit forward facing,” she said. “Saint actually weighs more than North, if that is believable.”
It is believable. Sometimes one kid is just way bigger than their siblings. However, this is what the California law states as far as car seat requirements for kids under 2 years old:
"“Children under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the manufacturer of the car seat.”"

Is Kim saying that 20-month old Saint is already either 40 pounds or 40 inches tall? Or both? He’s going to be a big boy!
The recent critique of Saint’s car seat is definitely not Kim Kardashian’s first run in with the mommy shamers. She’s been a mom for more than four years now, so there has been plenty of time and plenty of shame.
Just before Saint’s car seat almost caused critical moms everywhere to implode, Kim was catching heat from the modesty squad. It was after she posted a picture of North wearing a corset-style dress.
It turns out that it wasn’t a corset at all but that didn’t stop the army of moms. They didn’t think it was appropriate to be dressing North up in such confining clothing.

Wouldn’t it be nice if this level of “parental critique” didn’t exist and we could all just happily share pictures and videos of our children without worrying about a brigade of mommy shamers? The way Kim Kardashian responds to many of them, we’re sure she thinks so.
