Life of Kylie: Helping Peruvian kids with cleft palates makes Kylie Jenner emotional

Did you know that for every Kylie Cosmetics purchase, Kylie Jenner makes a donation to Smile Train to help repair cleft palates for kids?

In the upcoming Life of Kylie episode, Kylie Jenner and her crew remind us all just how lucky we are. Kylie heads to Peru with her best friend Jordyn Woods and her mom, Kris Jenner for a charity trip.

We learned that Kylie donates part of her proceeds from Kylie Cosmetics to a charity called Smile Train. They take that money and use it to pay for surgeries on small children and babies who were born with a cleft palate.

“It’s amazing to know that the money that I’m donating is actually doing something and changing lives,” Kylie says in the Life of Kylie clip. “But it is heartbreaking to know that there are so many people who just don’t have the resources.”

The trip was very emotional for Kylie but the reality of the challenges facing these kids seems to hit Kris Jenner the hardest. The famous momager broke down in the clip.

“This is very overwhelming, I’m sorry,” Kris said while wiping away tears.

While Kylie and Jordyn fawn over the cuteness of a baby named Mia, we learned just how much the makeup mogul is helping to make a difference.

“Kylie alone has helped over 13,00 poor kids,” a Smile Train worker says. “34 children this weekend.”

After watching the Life of Kylie sneak peek, I feel compelled to buy like 500 lip kits. It’s no secret that the Kardashians often make donations. The famous family even came together and donated $500K to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Who knew Kylie Jenner was making such a huge impact all by herself, though. Go, Kylie!
