Tristan Thompson buying Los Angeles home now that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant

It was reported over the last few months that Tristan Thompson was looking for a home in Los Angeles to rent but now the Cleveland Cavaliers star is said to be buying, not renting. 

Khloe Kardashian is pregnant according to so many recent reports and zero denials from the KUWTK star. Now that her pregnancy news has been leaked, we’re learning that Tristan Thompson has changed up his househunting plans.

Back in July, it was reported that Tristan wanted to rent a house in Los Angeles. The Cavs star reportedly wanted to be close enough to the training facility he was going to every day. He could just stay with Khloe but she lives in Calabasas.

Calabasas is only about 30 miles from downtown LA so this might not make sense. Why not just drive it every day, right? Well, the problem is that we’re talking about the LA freeways and traffic can be pretty ridiculous. A 30-mile trip could take hours depending on how backed up a few key freeways could be.

So now, rather than spending $60,000 per month on a rental, Tristan is looking for an LA pad to purchase. According to TMZ, his budget is $20 million and he’s still looking for a spot close to Los Angeles than where Khloe lives.

Of course, this only helps to fuel rumors that Tristan Thompson might be looking for a trade to an NBA team in the Golden State. He may be coming off the bench for the Cavaliers next season, which already sounds pretty unappealing for a former starter. Now, with a pregnant girlfriend back in Calfornia, now would be a great time for Tristan to switch teams and end up closer to Khloe Kardashian and the rest of her family.
