KUWTK surrogate scandal: Kim Kardashian explains why surrogate wasn’t invited to the baby shower

Kim Kardashian threw a baby shower for her third child and the surrogate wasn’t invited to the party. 

Cherry blossoms and tea were the inspiration for Kim’s baby shower. The KUWTK star celebrated the impending arrival of her third child, recently revealed to be a baby girl, over the weekend. There were a lot of famous faces on hand to help Kim Kardashian celebrate but one person was notably absent; the woman actually carrying the child.

Naturally, Kim was criticized for not inviting her surrogate to the party that celebrated the child she’s been growing. Many wanted to know why the surrogate was snubbed and making some wild claims about why the woman was not there.

It turns out that Kim Kardashian has a pretty reasonable explanation for the surrogate snub. It turns out that North and Saint, who were at the shower, didn’t know who the surrogate was.

Kim is very protective of her kids. While she has explained to North and Saint that there is a new baby sister on the way, they haven’t really asked about her lack of belly. In all honesty, they are probably too young to even think about all that.

As for why Kim Kardashian decided not to have her surrogate at her baby shower, that might be part true but do you really think that’s the whole story? It’s already known that Kim and Kanye have gone to great lengths to keep the identity of her surrogate a secret.

That baby shower was very highly photographed so if the surrogate was there, we would all know who she is right now with total certainty. Considering how close Kim and Kanye’s surrogate is to delivery, she needs to be protected more than ever.

That seems like a much more believable reason to keep the surrogate a secret and away from a party full of celebrities. It’s no secret that a lot of people like to find fault with the KUWTK crew, especially Kim Kardashian. Who can really be mad at her for trying to keep her surrogate and her unborn baby safe, though?
