Kim Kardashian advocates for the release of sex trafficking victim Cyntoia Brown
Cynthoia Brown is trending after the sex trafficking victim was sentenced to life in prison but Kim Kardashian wants to help get her out.
Kim Kardashian is just one celebrity who is outraged over the recent Cynthoia Brown verdict. The KUWTK star spoke out in support of the sex trafficking victim, announcing that “our system has failed” after the young woman was found guilty of murdering the man who bought and sexually assaulted her as a child.
Cynthoia Brown has a shocking story as a child victim of sex trafficking. One that is becoming way too familiar in the US. As a young teenager, Brown was pimped out by a man who went by the name “Cut-throat.” According to Fox 17, she was raped, beaten, and forced into prostitution at a young age.

In 2011, Daniel Birman made a documentary about Cynthoia Brown’s life and how she was failed by the system after a life of abuse.
“Imagine at the age of 16 being sex-trafficked by a pimp named “cut-throat,” Birman posted on Instagram. “After days of being repeatedly drugged and raped by different men, you were purchased by a 43-year-old child predator who took you to his home to use you for sex. You end up finding enough courage to fight back and shoot and kill him.”
Recently, Cynthoia Brown’s case has been receiving attention again and a few celebrities have taken notice. Rihanna has posted on social media in support of the sex trafficking victim, calling for an end to her imprisonment.
Kim Kardashian has also stepped up and posted in support of Brown. She also let fans know that she put a call in to her lawyers to see what kind of steps they could take to help Cyntoia Brown get some help.
