Animal activist Pamela Anderson gifts Kim Kardashian with faux fur for Christmas

Pamela Anderson is still pushing hard to get Kim Kardashian on team faux fur. 

It’s no secret that former Baywatch hottie Pamela Anderson is a huge advocate for animals. She’s active with PETA and refuses to wear fur. She’s even gone so far as the launch a makeup line that is both vegan and cruelty-free. Now, Pamela really just wants to get Kim Kardashian on board.

In an effort to sway Kim into adopting a more animal-friendly lifestyle, Pam has even sent Kim a pretty cool Christmas present. She gifted the KUWTK star with a faux fur coat for Christmas according to Page Six. 

The faux fur coat is coral-colored and hip length from Only Me Eco Fur. It would look great with Kim’s recent grey-blonde locks. Along with it came a letter from Pam to Kim, asking (again) very nicely for the KUWTK star to please consider giving up fur.

“In the spirit of the season, please accept this coral hip-length faux-mink coat, made especially for
you by my partners at Only Me Eco Fur in Russia,” the letter says. “As we all ponder New Year’s resolutions, won’t you consider making a meaningful one to stop wearing fur? You’d be setting a trendy, compassionate example.”

So far, there’s been no word from Kim, who has previously worn some very extravagant fur pieces. There’s no telling if she’ll take Pamela up on this challenge to ditch real fur and making animal activism trendy. It is possible but it’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time Pam has tried to sway Kim.

Back in September, Pamela Anderson even blogged a letter to Kim Kardashian, asking her then to consider giving up fur. Obviously, she didn’t get too far because the honorary PETA director is still asking for Kim to consider giving it up just two months earlier.

“It was lovely seeing you at New York Fashion Week,” Pam wrote on her blog. “I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know you over the years, and I can tell you’re a good person with a big, beautiful heart. I’m writing to ask you to extend your compassion to real fashion victims—the animals who are violently killed in the fur trade—by swearing off fur this winter.”

So here’s the burning question: Should Kim Kardashian listen to Pamela Anderson’s pleas and join the mission to stop wearing fur? Or is the KUWTK star well within her rights as a fashion icon to wrap mink, fox, or whatever other real animal furs around herself? This is such a hot topic and so far, Kim has remained silent each time Pam asks her to take a stand.
