Kanye West’s father diagnosed with cancer

It turns out that Kanye West’s father has been diagnosed with cancer. So far, the reality star and rapper isn’t saying a word about the diagnosis.

TMZ revealed the news today that Kanye’s father Ray West is now battling cancer. Sources close to Ray say that he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. So far, Ray isn’t saying a word about it. Some reports were that it was stomach cancer, but TMZ says that is not the case.

Sources say that Ray West is in LA right now and receiving treatment. It sounds like things are going well for him. This is great to hear and hopefully, he will end up okay. This also means he is close to Kanye at this hard time in his life.

Kanye West was very close to his mother and she passed away just a bit over ten years ago. Donda and Kanye were close and after her death, he had some problems. Kanye even had a mental breakdown that was partially caused by the loss of her. He has written songs about his mother. Kanye’s parents got divorced when he was pretty young.

Kanye and his dad were spotted together back in March having lunch out together. They are normally not seen together, but they do get along. Kanye doesn’t share much about their relationship with the public. Hopefully, a few updates will continue to come out about Ray’s condition because the fans do want to know details about how he is doing.
