Kanye West goes to Twitter, says he has changed his name

Kanye West went to his Twitter today to share that he has changed his name. The rapper did this right before dropping his new album.

Hollywood Life shared all of the details about what Kanye West just revealed. He isn’t the first artist to decide that he should change his name. The thing is a lot of the time the new name never sticks.

This all happened on September 29, 2018, as Kanye took to his Twitter and revealed his new name. He explained saying “the being formally known as Kanye West I am YE.” He also changed his Twitter display name to his new name, but the handle is still @kanyewest. He may end up changing that at some point too. His name has also been changed on Instagram, but the handle hasn’t.

That is all that Kanye’s tweet said and he didn’t explain the decision. His fans now want to know what is going on and why he would do this at all.

The main thing that the fans are going crazy about in the comments is wanting him to drop his new album. Kanye had shared that it would come out on Saturday evening. It is still pretty early in the day, but fans are hoping for an early release. They can’t wait to hear his new music.
