Page Six reported that style search engine Lyst just released its 2018 Year in Fashion Report. The style report uses social media along with sales and search research to evaluate brands, influential celebrities, and fashion trends.

And when it came to superstar celebrities, Kylie Jenner triumphed!

Kylie Jenner increases ‘pink dresses’ searches 107 percent in 48 hours

The report revealed that Kylie was responsible for “more than two million searches this year, from Adidas tracksuits and Dior sunglasses to Victoria’s Secret underwear and Alexander Wang minidresses.”

As an example, Lyst noted that Jenner wore a pink mini-dress to her birthday party. In the next 48 hours, searches for “pink dresses” soared by 107 percent.

However, Kim Kardashian outdid Meghan Markle as well. Kardashian came in second place to Kylie, while scoring high marks as a style influencer.

Kim scored for being responsible for the boost in popularity of bike shorts and thongs. Extra points to Kardashian for knowing how to show off her booty in those bike shorts on Instagram!

And when Kardashian shared an Instagram photo in which she wore Fendi logos, her fans caused searches for the label to increase by 16 percent.

Meghan Markle lags behind Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian

Well, Meghan Markle got Harry….but she didn’t get the title of 2018’s most influential fashionista. Coming in third place, Prince Harry’s royal wife did get credit for her fabulous style at the royal wedding.

Fans searched for both Givenchy and Stella McCartney after seeing Markle look stunning in both designer labels.

“On average, if Meghan wears a designer, that brand will see a +200% increase in search demand over the following week,” noted the report.
