Kylie Jenner: Kylie Cosmetics skin care line could be in danger

Kylie Cosmetics has been doing great ever since launching, and Kylie Jenner is looking to expand to skin care. However, it looks like the line could be facing some trouble as she tries to launch.

Kylie Jenner started Kylie Cosmetics and saw instant success. That success has continues as her brand has grown and changed, adding new products and colors of those products. It looks like the beauty super star is ready to open a skin line now that ties into the brand.

Kylie is starting a skin care line, but looks to be facing some difficulties while she does it. The line is to be called “Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner” and she signed the papers all the way back in October. That was quite some time ago, but now there’s some issues with the word “skin.” It looks like the line will include lots of products, some being: moisturizers, scrubs, cleansers and toners. Sounds like pretty much everything you could need for a flawless complexion.

The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office aren’t happy her use of the word and have told her to fix that and apply again. After thinking about it, this really makes sense. She can’t claim the word skin, skin care brands everywhere really need to use that word. Lucky for Kylie, she has a grace period before the application if just thrown away.

Kylie also revealed on social media that she’s got new formulas for blush, highlighter and bronzer coming out, so fans really have a lot to look forward to this year. In addition to this, my favorite so far, she may also be coming out with a whole eyelash line. As a huge fan of using false lashes to make eye looks explode, I’m so excited to get some that Kylie has created herself.
