Are you more of a Kylie Cosmetics or KKW Beauty fan? Which brand is more worth the money
By Haley Cook
Sister Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner both have amazing makeup lines. Both have different items though and may not be for everyone. Find out which brand will add a pop to your makeup collection.
KKW Beauty
KKW Beauty is Kim Kardashian’s makeup baby. The brand started in 2017 according to People. Like Kylie Cosmetics, her contour shades began to sell out in minutes. Kim’s collections includes so many lip shades, liners, blushes, shadows and more. However, her makeup may be more your style is you are into more nude and muted shades.
Other than her KKW X Mario Pallet, there isn’t many bright colors within the collection, but this definitely makes sense. If you look at Kim’s makeup she is always a natural glam. She doesn’t need crazy colors for her looks to stand out. Her collection reflects what she does with her own makeup and can give anyone a natural glam look.
As for price, they are actually lower than a lot of other makeup brands like Tarte or Too Faced. Of course, all these brands aren’t on the same level, but if you want a great product for a lower price point, KKW is the way to go.
Kylie Cosmetics
Unlike Kim, Kylie’s colors go a lot brighter in Kylie Cosmetics. She has several different collections depending on what you need. These include birthday collections, Christmas collections, a Kris Jenner collection and even Halloween collections.
Kylie Cosmetics has a great mixture of a bright color in an other wise nude pallet. this is perfect for someone who wants to spice up a natural glam up a bit. She’s no James Charles when it comes to color but Kylie Jenner does know her way around an accent color and Kylie Cosmetics reflects this.

Like KKW Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics is expensive but not AS expensive as it could be. Her line which includes contour kits, pallets, glitters and of course lipsticks are all available for a decent price. Yes, the lip kits are high, but from personal experience, I’m a huge fan of the formula she uses in those. They are creamy and don’t dry but they also don’t come off too easy.
