Travis Scott: Performing in Super Bowl amidst controversy, makes NFL donate money

Travis Scott is set to perform in tonight’s big game, but not without some controversial arguments. What performer would turn down the show? Turns out this year’s game isn’t creating the same hype.

Travis Scott will be taking the stage tonight for the Super Bowl, but its amidst a lot of controversy. Cardi B. and Rhianna even turned down the slot. Why did Travis decide to take it?

According to BBC, after the Colin Kaepernick kneeled to protest police brutality against African Americans. This created a ripple affect of others kneeling, however this offended several people who believe you shouldn’t kneel during the National Anthem.

The NFL’s refusal to acknowledge the situation has caused these celebs to pull out of the performance and many fans don’t want them to perform anyway. Apparently, Jay-Z even tried to get Travis Scott to quit the show. However, Travis did come up with a stipulation to perform tonight.

According to BBC, Travis Scott reportedly asked the NFL to donate money to a social justice organization in order for him to take the stage tonight. The NFL agreed, so Travis will be performing.

Many people are still mad at him as well as others who agreed to perform. At the same time, at least Travis actually got the NFL to donate.

Aside from all of the NFL drama, there’s still the possibility that Travis will perform to Kylie Jenner tonight. Let’s be honest it would be AMAZING. I know I will be glued to my TV screen waiting for the big moment.
