But Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner chose to ignore the premiere of the family’s cash cow reality TV show, with their Instagram pics devoted to, well, themselves.

As the Washington Post pointed out, the premiere of KUWTK showed precisely why it has survived for 16 seasons while other reality shows have failed (even some versions of the never-ending Real Housewives faded quietly away…remember Miami?):

• There were the inevitable tears (oh, Khloe!).
• Hints of future scandals that the audience already knows about (we see you, Jordyn Woods, in the pre-Tristan-cheating era).
• And the surviving happily married couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye, living their drama-packed lives.

Kylie stayed with a photo she had previously posted, with her supple body shown at its best in a see-through outfit, while Kendall ignored the debut as well.

Is Jenner so upset at the drama involving her maybe-former best friend Jordyn cheating with Tristan that she’s permanently off the show, signaling that with her no-celebrating Instagram? And is Kendall just over the entire experience, preferring to focus on modeling?
