Fans of Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and the rest of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) have delighted for years in the clan’s frequent visits to Ellen DeGeneres’ popular talk show.

How did Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and family end up on Ellen?

First, let’s take a look at exactly how the Jenner and Kardashian clan ended up paying so many visits to DeGeneres’ talk show.

As Vice points out, one reason for the KUWTK clan to frequent Ellen’s show more frequently than other talk shows is their closeness. It’s just about 20 miles from their homes in Calabasas to Warner Brothers Studios.

That convenience has turned into nearly 35 visits from the clan in less than 10 years.

And it’s a win-win for the talk show host and Kardashian family, with the former getting some lively and attractive guests to provide her with exclusives and the latter getting typically soft-ball questions from the good-humored host.

In 2010, Kim and Ellen discussed their surprise and delight at the show’s success. Kardashian also discussed her “trauma” on Dancing With the Stars.

In 2011, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim both appeared to discuss the rude antics of Saturday Night Live and condemn tabloids.

Khloe Kardashian appeared twice in 2012 on the talk show, once to talk about Lamar and once to discuss her role on the X Factor.

Kanye West has made several appearances through the years, and he and Ellen have formed a strong bond, with DeGeneres once telling West that she was “blown away” by the beauty of his music.

Ellen gave Kylie Jenner the opportunity explore her feelings about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, with Kylie reflecting that she liked Caitlyn “better than Bruce.” Kylie also revealed that she and Caitlyn “hang out a lot more” than she did with Bruce.
