And while the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars have gone through some ups and downs in their relationship, the recent cheating scandal caused by Khloe’s baby daddy has caused Khloe and Scott to be closer together.

Kardashian just posted a new Instagram pic showing the two, and it’s caused some fans to speculate once more that Scott Disick and Khloe are more than just friends.

Khloe reflected in her Instagram caption about how far the two have come in their relationship.

Expressing gratitude to have the “incredible” Scott as part of her life, Kardashian also noted that she realizes how much Disick has grown emotionally since the days when he struggled with alcoholism.

“I am thankful for every highs and lows because we have been through it all and we are closer than ever,” added Khloe.

Calling Scott one of her “best friends,” Kardashian referred to the term that the two have come to use for themselves as a couple: “the Lord and the Lady.”

But same fans thought that the “Lord and the Lady” looked more like boyfriend and girlfriend.

Or as one fan wrote bluntly, “Refuse to believe they’ve never shagged.”

Some wished that the two could have another chance, with one romantic sighing, “In another life y’all would’ve been perfect together.”

And several noted that Kardashian and Disick are just too cute together.

However, with Khloe Kardashian the sister of Kourtney, who is the baby mama of Scott’s kids, others pointed out that it would be “weird” for the children.

Disick celebrated his 36th birthday with a flock of women by his side, reported People.

His current girlfriend, Sofia Richie, and baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian, both were present.

And Richie wrote something similar to Khloe on her Instagram story, penning, “Happy birthday to my best friend.”
