Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are winning at parenting, so take notes

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna may have failed at their relationship, but are winning at parenting.

The end of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s engagement ended on a very sour note but what they got out of it was a very sweet daughter, named Dream.

Parenting, as we all know, is the hardest job on earth. If I had a dollar for every time I have written that statement, I would be a millionaire. It’s true though. Parenting is beautiful and rewarding but let’s be honest. It’s frustrating, exhausting, thankless and at times, ‘put me in a mental hospital’ hard.

Add in a divorce or a break up and it adds a whole new level of challenges. Now add in being in the public eye and from a famous family that has lived out failed relationships, cheating, incestuous dating and more…on television. Yikes.

I would seriously have to extend my mental hospital stay, although that sounds like a vacation. Leaving me in an all white, clean room with no one needing anything and with nothing but my thoughts? This mom of three says, “YES PLEASE.”

When Rob Kardashian, the only male in the famous Kardashian clan, and Blac Chyna, Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend’s baby mama, separated, (yah, you can’t make this sh*t up), they each received shared custody of their now two-year-old daughter.

Chyna told Entertainment Tonight, “I just feel like having a good relationship with the other parent and co-parenting is a healthy type of thing. It’s something that a lot of people need to practice.”

Well said Blac Chyna! In the end, the focus needs to be on the kids and not on each other. She is clearly mature enough to put her daughter first, ahead of any gripes and issues she may have with Rob. Chyna also shares a son with Tyga, so she knows a thing or two about co-parenting.

Those are two happy kiddies we see on Blac Chyna’s Instagram page.

What’s cool about the Kardashian/Jenner clan is there’s always family to hang with. Lots of little cousins running around, lots of energy and of course lots of love. Yes, the Kardashian/Jenner lifestyle is definitely not the norm, but they all make it work, no matter what the roadblocks are. This type of support is important, especially for Rob, who struggled with weight gain and depression in the past and may still be suffering.

Fatherhood has been good for Rob, and Chyna feels the same when she said back in March that, “Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!”

Rob and Chyna’s engagement ended on a very bad note, so the fact that they can come together to be the best parents they can be to their daughter and have enough respect for one another to make it work, is admirable. Many people can’t do that and it’s the kids that end up with the real wounds.

So, kudos to Rob and Chyna! Happy co-parenting and let’s hope the good vibes continue.

What are your thoughts on the new mature method Rob and Chyna are trying as parents? If you co-parent, what advice would you give? We want to hear from you so comment below! I’ll read them when I am released from the mental hospital, which hopefully won’t be any time soon.
