Kourtney Kardashian returns to ketogenic (keto) weight loss diet
Kourtney has joined Kim Kardashian as one of the major poster girls for the ketogenic (keto) weight loss diet.
Although the mom of Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick went off the keto diet for awhile, she decided to go back on the high-fat, low-carb diet plan for the summer, reported Today.
“My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months,” Kourtney shared in a blog. “In my experience, I’ve found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat, and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet.”
To stick to the diet, Kardashian avoids all forms of sugar, including fruit; all forms of flour, from cereal to bread to cake; and most processed foods.
Kourtney loads up on healthy high-fat foods such as coconut oil and avocado, eats moderate amounts of protein such as chicken and fish, and sips bone broth. She eats small amounts of greens as well as cauliflower.
