Nick Lachey talks about date with Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has dated a few Hollywood men before marrying rap artist, Kanye West, but did you know she and Nick Lachey gave things a shot?!

Nick Lachey was on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ this past Thursday night, and he spilled the beans on his date with Kim Kardashian.

Before Lachey was married to actress Vanessa Minnillo, and Kim Kardashian was Kim Kardashian West, the two went on one single date back in 2006, and fans are losing their minds.

The duo stepped out only six months after Lachey finalized his divorce with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, and decided to catch an “afternoon movie” of ‘The Davinci Code’.

As it turns out, the film, which starred Tom Hanks, wasn’t enough to keep the flame going for Kim and Nick, considering she left halfway through the movie. Lachey told host Andy Cohen that she had “went to the restroom and shockingly there were about 25 paparazzi when we left the theatre”.

Lachey claimed how “I think there were other things in play, on our little date”, he said. That comment, which shocked Andy Cohen, implied that Kim had fled the movie to arrange a flock of paparazzi to hound the duo after the film.

After asking Nick if the two went back to his place for a nightcap, Lachey quickly shot that question down by saying “no, it was an afternoon movie”. Guess there really was nothing going on between the two at the time.

Nick mentioned how the date took place at the “beginning” of Kim Kardashian’s take off into fame, further implying the two were set up merely for a photo op. Despite the confusion surrounding the date, Nick hasn’t spoken to Kim since but mentioned how she “couldn’t have been nicer”, with a smile.
