Kendall Jenner slammed by animal activists
Kendall Jenner is in the hot seat this week after a group of animal activities accuse the reality star of using an animal for an Instagram photo.
Model and star of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ has had a hectic week, from Halloween festivities, birthday celebrations and now backlash for something she posted online.
Kendall spent her birthday at the race track earlier this week, but fans are not calling out the model for her abusive use of an animal for Instagram.
If you aren’t sure what’s going on, let us explain! Kendall Jenner dressed up as a mystical golden fairy for Halloween last weekend, and although she looked absolutely stunning, the star angered a lot of people with her Instagram photos.
Although fans and sisters Khloe and Kourtney were praising Kendall for how great she looked, it appears not everyone was on board with the photo.
In the shot above, captioned “Forest Fairy”, Kendall can be seen kneeling on the back of a white horse for Halloween, and it appears it’s garnered a massive amount of backlash and criticism from social media users.
Instagram users and many animal rights activities are calling the star out for using the horse as a mere “accessory” for her shot.
Many users claimed that the pose and knees being dug into the horses back is not worth it for an Instagram photo, nor are the flashes from the camera.
One user wrote: “Is that a real horse she’s digging her knees into just to pose for the gram??”, while another called out Kendall saying: “It’s honestly sickening what people do for “likes” and attention. Poor horse”.
Although these beautiful animals can withstand a lot of weight, we can’t imagine it being comfortable having someone atop you like that.
Fans of Kendall were quick to come to the model’s defence, claiming how she knows how to ride a horse, and would not have done it if it wasn’t safe.
