Why Kim Kardashian is dressing less sexy

Kim Kardashian has become quite the symbol for what sexy means, however, it appears the star is taking a step back from that title, and dressing less sexy.

The Keeping Up With Kardashians star once broke the internet with her cover of Paper Magazine where the star posed both oiled up and nude.

Although Kim has no regrets with her past nude posts or bikini shots on Instagram, she is making a conscious effort to step away from being too “sexy” and trying to embody more of a tame version of herself.

Considering the star has been ridiculed her entire career for being “too sexy” or “vulgar”, we are slightly surprised to see Kim somewhat agree and change her look accordingly.

Kim spoke with CNN about being a “sex symbol” and she made it clear that “it can be complicated”.

“I definitely see the things that I brought on myself, the biggest being the robbery”, Kim said in regards to having been robbed in Paris back in 2016.

Kim continued to express how her step back from sexy is due to a combination of what her husband thinks, and her professional career.

“I don’t know if it’s the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill and he’s not comfortable with that”, Kim said. However, “he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want”.

Although Kanye has voiced his opinions regarding Kim’s outwardly sexiness, including her 2019 Met Gala look, it’s great that he does not force her into wearing something she does not want.

Additionally, Kim expressed how visiting the White House one day and posting a bikini shot the next, might not scream the most professional, which is why she feels it’s time to tone it down a bit.
