‘Tis the season! Mariah Carey is transforming into her final form, and the Queen of Christmas is about to get extra festive.

The Holidays mark a very special time of the year, one where we all feel that extra bit of joy, festivity and happiness!

However, the holidays are nothing without Mariah Carey’s iconic Christmas song: “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.

Mariah wrote this classic Christmas song back in 1994! While many people are under the impression Mimi covered the song, they’d be surprised to find out that it is a Mariah original.

The song was never commercially promoted during the time, and having an artist release a Christmas album only 4 years into their career was unheard of at the time.

With that being said, Merry Christmas, Mariah’s first album, is sitting comfortably in the top 10 of Billboard 200. Additionally, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, is enjoying it’s No. 3 spot on the Hot 100.

The Christmas single, which was not allowed to be considered for Billboard charting due to rules put in place, is now proudly in the top 3 spot! Lucky for Mariah, they’ve lifted the ban on holiday songs, and now her true power is showing.

Mimi released the song 25 years ago, and it’s now made its way this close to No. 1, which goes to show just how powerful Mariah is during this time of year. Talk about longevity and relevancy, alright!

Fans of Mariah are anxiously awaiting the hit song to reach its deserving spot at No .1 and can be done so by streaming it on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and of course, watching it on YouTube.

We hope to see this iconic song reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 so that we can really make Mariah’s “wish come true”.
