Kim Kardashian revealed plans for a new SKIMS Smooth Essentials collection with help from a stunning Instagram photo in which the mom of four proudly shows off her curves.
The announcement from Kim comes just weeks after the shapewear brand stepped forward with a $1 million donation to help mothers and children affected by COVID-19. In addition to the donation, the company donated a portion of all purchases from the brand’s recent restock was to be donated to Baby2Baby’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Program.
Kim Kardashian shows off curves promoting new SKIMS collection
In taking to Instagram, Kim Kardashian proudly showed off her curves donning a piece from her new SKIMS Smooth Essentials collection set to debut in the coming days.
The new collection has been developed with the goal of giving an “invisible look” and “super smooth feel.” According to Kim, the look has been achieved by using “bonded and laser-cut hems” which have been designed to lay flat against one’s skin.
If Kim’s photo is any indication, the designers behind the collection have done a killer job in achieving their goals as the pieces donned by Kim have a seamless finish — which is so Kim.
The new collection is expected to be released in five tonal colors and will be available to buyers of all sizes with a range of XXS to 4X, which is on-brand for the company whose goal it is to provide shapewear for every shape.

Fans hoping to get their hands on items from Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Smooth Essentials collection won’t have to wait long.
As revealed by Kim in announcing the collection, the SKIMS Smooth Essentials collection is set to launch at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT on Wednesday, April 8. Those hoping to pick up a few pieces will, however, might want to join the SKIMS waitlist in hopes of receiving early access to the shop.
Although it remains uncertain how many pieces will be available upon the collection’s launch, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS line has been known to draw quite the crowd. In fact, Bustle recently reported SKIMS has a 1 million person waitlist. In other words, it might not hurt to add your name to the waitlist soon if you hope to get the chance to add a few items from the SKIMS brand to your personal wardrobe.
