Nearly a year after Oxygen first announced it’s partnership with Kim for the two-hour documentary, Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project finally made its debut on the cable network Sunday, April 5.
In the documentary, Kim’s criminal justice reform efforts take center stage as viewers witness Kim’s pursuit to help give a voice to the voiceless. The 2-hour special follows Kim as she works with those who she “believes have paid their debt to society,” introducing viewers to a handful of individuals whose stories caught Kim’s attention. The hope? To help bring awareness to America’s mass incarceration rates and the issues they create within society.
Without spoiling anything, we’ll simply note The Justice Project does a solid job of bringing the issue to the forefront with its compelling first-hand testimonies from the incarcerated individuals at the heart of the documentary.
