Since joining Instagram in 2011, Kendall Jenner has become one of the most-followed individuals of all-time on the social media platform but just how did Kendall make her Instagram debut?
As anyone who follows Kendall Jenner on Instagram already knows, Kendall has become known for pushing the envelope often sharing risqué snapshots and turning heads with her stunning selfies. She’s also been known to use the platform as a means to promote her various ventures and the brands she’s had the pleasure of working with / loves most.
Oh, and let’s not forget the incredible throwback content Kendall routinely shares on the account including flashback photos of her younger years as well as throwback shots of her family!
Like many individuals on Instagram, Kendall Jenner’s Instagram has grown and evolved since the model and fashion mogul first joined the social platform. While Kendall is now known for her edgy selfies and fashion-forward content, some fans might find it hard to believe Kendall’s first every Instagram shot was a photo which failed to even include Kendall or any Kardashian for that matter.
What was Kendall Jenner’s first Instagram photo?
Upon joining Instagram in the summer of 2011 — July 12 to be precise for those curious as to when Kendall made her official Instagram debut — Kendall Jenner made her long-anticipated debut with a little help from the happiest place on Earth: Disneyland.
Overlayed with one of Instagram’s filters, Kendall’s first Instagram post, seen below, is a shot snapped of Disneyland’s famed Disneyland Railroad.
Although it’s unclear whether the image was shot the day of its posting or was a throwback shot from Kendall’s phone, it’s fitting that the attraction was used as Kendall’s gateway into the world of Instagram as the attraction itself serves as a gateway to the beloved theme park.
Considering Kendall would have been just under 16 when first joining Instagram, the photo is not only age-appropriate for the time, but is right on par with the type of content teens were drawn to posting at the time — because who doesn’t love a good vacation shot?!
