Peter Weber finally addresses Kelley Flanagan romance rumors

The Bachelor star Peter Weber is finally weighing in on those Kelley Flanagan romance rumors and his response to the rumors might surprise Bachelor Nation.

Peter’s season of ABC’s long-running reality series will go down as one of the most tumultuous seasons of recent years thanks in large part to the way in which the season ended.

As fans will recall, Peter initially popped the question to Hannah Ann Sluss only to break the engagement. He then attempted to rekindle the connection with fellow season 24 contestant Madison Prewett; however, the pair would ultimately go their separate ways as well.

And then began the Peter Weber, Kelley Flanagan romance rumors which took off after the pair were spotted together in Chicago. It wasn’t long before rumors began swirling that Peter had rekindled his budding romance with Kelley, who also appeared as a contestant on his season of The Bachelor, with many citing the photos as proof of their relationship.

Appearing on fellow Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast, Peter Weber finally broke his silence on the romance rumors which have been swirling from the moment he was first spotted with Kelley Flanagan.

According to Peter, there is nothing romantic about their current relationship, per se, as Peter noted they are not currently dating. That said, Peter did admit he would be “extremely lucky and very happy” if they were to take their relationship to the next level in going official.

Given the rocky way in which his most recent relationships unfolded, we can’t blame Peter for wanting to take things slow with Kelley before deciding to take the next step in their relationship. In fact, even Peter admits that he’s the last person who needs to be rushing into a new relationship:

"“I just had an engagement that didn’t work out. I just was trying to pursue things with another woman, that didn’t work out,” Peter told Viall. “And that’s why right now, just taking it really, really slow.”"

So while Peter and Kelley might not be romantically connected just yet, it seems sparks are definitely flying between the two and there is a strong chance they’ll become official sooner, rather than later.
