Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18, episode 3 featured a huge elephant in the room — Kourtney Kardashian’s absence from the series. But equally as noticeable is Kendall Jenner’s presence. Is the reality series up to something here?

Every KUWTK fan knows that the reality series is all about, well, the Kardashians. This includes Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian. Kris is part of the bunch, too, because, even though she doesn’t have the last name to match, she did at one time and is the one who started it all. Rob Kardashian used to make appearances, too, but we don’t see him as much these past several seasons.

However, it’s obvious that Keeping Up with the Kardashians does not include Kylie and Kendall Jenner as closely as the other sisters. Still, the younger siblings do appear here and there, and we also see them in the season finales. That said, we can’t help but notice how Kendall has been in every episode so far this season.

Is Kendall Jenner replacing Kourtney Kardashian in Keeping Up with the Kardashians?

Kendall was in the season 18 premiere as she took a front-row seat as a witness in Kim and Kourtney’s fight. She returned in the second part of the premiere, and also accompanied Khloe and Kris to lunch in the latest episode, season 18, episode 3, “Date My Daughter.”

This is odd and begs the question, is the series testing out audience’s reaction to Kendall Jenner as Kourtney’s full-time replacement? If so, I’m not sure how I feel about it.

While I do like the idea of seeing more of Kylie and Kendall, I don’t know if it will be enough to fill Kourtney’s shoes. She was dearly missed in the latest episode. They do say you never know what you have until it’s gone. Viewers are realizing how much fun it was to see Kourtney in the series.
