Kardashian feuds: A look at Kim Kardashian feuds from over the years
By Cody Schultz
Jameela Jamil and Kim Kardashian feud
Perhaps we should rephrase this as Jameela Jamil feuds with Kim Kardashian, as this particular feud has been extremely one-sided with the former Good Place star leading the charge against Kim and her sisters for their standards of beauty.
While Jameela has blasted the Kardashians on countless occasions, Kim and company have typically stuck to ignoring her remarks making this a more one-sided feud.
Katie Couric and Kim Kardashian feud
During an interview back in 2013, Katie Couric took a direct shot at Kim when she questioned The Kardashians’ fame noting, “I don’t understand why are they so famous?”
In a surprise twist, Couric followed her comments up by sending Kim a gift for then newborn daughter, North. However, Kim was not about to quietly accept the gift as an olive branch an instead blasted her in an Instagram post in which she got her message across with two poignant hashtags: #IHateFakeMediaFriends and #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit.
Pink and Kim Kardashian feud
Add Pink to those who are not a fan of Kim’s NSFW selfies! Following Kim’s posting of her nude selfie, Pink threw some shade Kim’s way with a harsh statement:
"“Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much ‘attention’ or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your t**s and a***s, but women like you don’t need that kind of ‘attention.’ In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self-respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You’ll never have to make silly excuses for yourself.”"
Kim understandably took issue with Pink’s remarks — which came on the heels of other’s remarks. Rather than throwing shade back at Pink, Kim took the higher road in simply posing the question of why she should be ashamed for loving her body:
"“In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body.”"
