Seth Rogen offended by Kim Kardashian calling Tom Hanks her favorite actor

Did Kim Kardashian just spark an unintentional feud with actor Seth Rogen? Not quite; however, her latest confession regarding her actor preferences did leave Rogen feeling blindsided and left with some hurt feelings.

During these weeks of social distancing and self quarantining, Kim Kardashian has been sharing a lot about her viewing habits. From jumping on board the Tiger King bandwagon and enjoying Trolls World Tour with her little ones to catching up on iconic titles she missed when they originally came out, like us all, Kim has been turning to television and movies to pass the time.

Her most recent movie watch led to yet another personal revelation from Kim which quickly managed to catch the attention of comedian Seth Rogen.

Kim Kardashian watches You’ve Got Mail for the first time

For her latest watch party, Kim Kardashian enjoyed a classic rom-com for the first time: 1998 Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan led romantic comedy You’ve Got Mail.

Like many of Kim’s followers, we here at Kardashian Dish aren’t quite sure how Kim has gone all these years without having ever watched the iconic rom-com — it’s a classic which she’s had more than 20 years to watch! While Kim is extremely late to the party, we can at least take comfort in knowing she enjoyed the film though part of that could be due to Tom Hanks’ involvement in the film as the male lead.

After taking in the classic rom-com, Kim revealed that Tom Hanks is probably her favorite actor, which seems to have caught at least one famous follower by surprise.

Hours after Kim named Tom Hanks as her favorite actor, fellow actor and comedian Seth Rogen took to his Twitter where he made it clear Kim’s confession had left him feeling hurt.

Ever the man of few words, the actor jokingly took offense to Kim’s reveal which is the most Seth Rogen thing to do. More importantly, as pointed out by another user, Kim said Hanks is “probably” her favorite actor which means there is an opportunity here for Seth Rogen to unseat the Hollywood icon and claim the No. 1 spot in Kim’s heart!
