Scott Disick checks out of rehab due to concerns for privacy

Just hours after word broke about his return to rehab, Scott Disick has checked out of the Colorado facility he was reported as being in due to concerns with his privacy.

On May 4, Daily Mail exclusively reported the former husband of Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian had returned to rehab where he was seeking treatment. The report was said to be built around a source who released private information about Scott’s presence at the facility including a photo taken of Scott on-location.

Scott Disick checks himself out of rehab due to privacy concerns

Just hours after the report broke, E! Online revealed that Scott Disick had checked himself out of the Colorado facility he first checked into the prior week.

According to E! Online, the decision was made out of a concern over his privacy as it’s believed the source of the original Daily Mail report is someone who works at the facility. As a result, Scott checked himself out of the facility and is reported to be returning home.

In addition to reporting his decision to check himself out of the facility, E! Online reports Scott’s attorney Marty Singer revealed Scott’s original reason for checking into the facility was to focus on his mental health in processing the sudden passing of his parents — despite the previous rumors that the decision stemmed from a need to seek help for drug-related needs.

It is not currently known whether Scott will continue treatment elsewhere; however, E! does hint that Scott is exploring taking legal action for the breach of his privacy. Regardless of one’s thoughts on Scott, no one deserves to have their privacy invaded and we here at Kardashian Dish wish him the best in these difficult times.
