Kourtney Kardashian shared a beautiful message of empowerment directed at daughter Penelope, encouraging her to learn from mistakes — a poignant statement in wake of Scott Disick’s recent rehab news.

It’s been an interesting week for Kourtney and her family, as reports have swirled surrounding regarding ex-husband Scott Disick’s return to rehab. During what we imagine have been trying times for Kourtney and her family, Kourtney shared some incredible words of wisdom she often tells her daughter.

Although Kourtney has not spoken out publicly on Scott’s latest stint in rehab or addressed how it has impacted her family, it’s hard not to take note of one particular section of the message shared by Kourtney in regards to the importance of learning from past mistakes.

“Make mistakes (and learn from them),” Kourtney wrote in her sweet post highlighting some of the many mantras she tells her daughter. While it’s a piece of advice we all should use, it’s a statement that carries particularly strong weight in wake of the all that is going on with Scott at this time and the struggles he’s currently working through.

The beautiful message contains a lot of other incredible pieces of advice and words of wisdom such as a reminder to love oneself first and to never give up on one’s dreams — always keeping the faith along the way.

“You are more beautiful than you will ever know, and oh so smart, there is no one else like you in the entire world, you are loved,” Kourtney concludes in the heartfelt message. Now those are words we all could live by and do well to remember on our dark days.
