Looking to continue to lend support to those hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kim Kardashian has donated another $1 million through SKIMS to help those in need.
From the beginning, Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian family have been strong advocates for social distancing and have been using their platforms to help shine a light on the many charities working to help those affected by things. Beyond shining a light on charitable efforts, the family has also been giving back in many ways including cash donations, the donating of personal care items to those on the frontlines, and assistance in donating hand sanitizer.
Kim Kardashian donates another $1 million to charities helping with COVID-19 relief through SKIMS shapewear brand
As announced through SKIMS official social media accounts — and later reshared on Kim’s Twitter and Instagram — the shapewear brand has pledged yet another $1 million to help those hit hardest by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
While the brand’s initial donation back in April was to Baby 2 Baby’s Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund, the company’s latest donation will be distributed across four unique charities looking to provide assistance to varying groups.
In addition to once again providing aid to Baby 2 Baby’s Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund, which helps support mothers and children in need, the donation will help the following three charities as well:
- Good+Foundation: An organization “Partnering with essential front-line workers across the country to get financial grants and critical goods to families most in need.”
- LA Regional Food Bank: An organization whose focus has been on helping those in need with food assistance within the LA area.
- National Domestic Workers Alliance’s Coronavirus Care Fund: An organization helping to provide assistance to home care workers, nannies, and house cleaners affected by COVID-19.
With so many affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s great to see celebrities such as Kim Kardashian continue to step up to lend support where possible as every dollar helps!
