Kim Kardashian reveals new fitness secrets for staying in shape

Move over Kourtney Kardashian, because Kim Kardashian is here with some fitness tips of her own to help fans stay in shape and motivated during these ongoing times of self-quarantine and social distancing.

While there’s no denying Kourtney remains the reigning queen of quarantine content, thanks in large part to her near-daily Poosh recommendations, Kim Kardashian too has been taking it upon herself to provide followers with ideas for how to keep in shape/avoid the dreaded quarantine 15.

At the beginning of May, Kim revealed her secret to maintaining her toned midriff and attaining a flat stomach in sharing her home ab workout routine. Now, Kim is once again letting fans in on her personal workout regime; however, given Kim’s comment about the workout being the hardest of her life, this routine doesn’t seem to be for the faint of heart.

Taking to her Instagram Stories after a workout with trainer Melissa Alcantara, a worn-out Kim confessed to having just finished the hardest workout of her life. After reading through the workout’s steps, we’re already breaking out into a sweat and understand why Kim titled it as her hardest workout ever!

As Kim revealed, the workout began by doing 15 minutes of cardio on the treadmill at an incline of 15 and a speed of 2.5. After warming up, Kim dove into the more intensive portion of the workout which was completed while wearing a 20-pound weighted vest.

The workout was comprised of four rounds of the following exercises:

  • 4x banded in and out agility ladder squats
  • 100 boss mountain climbers
  • 60 TRX jump squats
  • 10 weighted burpees

Whew, this workout definitely sounds like it would get one’s blood pumping!

With summer upon us, we’re all about trying out new fitness routines, though we might have to tweak Kim’s workout routine ever so slightly in working out from home and encourage you to do the same. After all, we all workout at different levels and don’t always have the same equipment on hand.
