Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner vacation in Utah draws backlash
Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner have found themselves under fire for seemingly ignoring California’s non-essential travel ban to take a trip to Utah.
With social distancing orders lessening in recent weeks, individuals have been able to ease back into previously normal activities such as the ability to get a haircut at one’s favorite salon, enjoying a meal in a favorite restaurant, and frequenting other non-essential businesses which have since reopened. However, there are still some restrictions in place to help the spread of the coronavirus, especially in hard-hit states such as California.
Currently, the State of California has a stay at home holder in place in which the state requests residence such as Kendall and Kylie only go out for work, local shopping and other permitted errands. The state also laid out very clear travel guidelines which state travel should be restricted to urgent matters and travel required for work, essentially banning non-essential travel in order to help residents.
Despite California’s prohibiting of non-essential travel and a shelter-in-home order, Kylie and Kendall jetted off to Utah to enjoy a luxury vacation with friends which has understandably put the sisters in hot water.
Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner ignore California travel ban, social distancing recommendations
As fans who have been keeping up with Kylie and Kendall via their Instagram accounts know, the two sisters have been enjoying a week together with friends at the Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point, a 5-star resort in the great state of Utah. While a trip to a luxury resort with friends is far from unusual for Kendall and Kylie, the fact that the sisters decided to ignore California’s non-essential travel ban is not a good look on the sisters.

Making matters even worse is that the pair traveled with a larger group of friends who have all been in close contact with one another and have not been taking precautions in wearing masks while together.
Considering how vocal the Kardashian family has been in encouraging their followers to follow social distancing recommendations and face masks, it’s a shame to see that little sisters Kylie and Kendall seem to have disregarded the suggestions themselves all to enjoy a vacay with friends. So it’s understandable that fans have put them on blast for ignoring the travel ban and social distancing recommendations.
