After airing just six episodes this spring, Keeping Up with the Kardashians went on a break which has continued into the summer months and left us with only reruns of our favorite reality show to enjoy during quarantine. The good news is that the show will be back in just a few short months and with the new episodes promises to come plenty of memorable moments for fans to enjoy!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18 return date

As of the writing of this post, E! has not yet confirmed an official return date; however, the network has gifted fans with a general return date for the show.

Following the midseason finale on April 30, E! confirmed the show would return for the remaining half of its eighteenth season this September. Considering fall cycles of the show generally kick off in the early part of the month, we could receive new episodes as early as Thursday, Sept. 10 should E! decide to air the midseason premiere the first Thursday of the month.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it remains unclear whether E! might delay the season’s second half; however, all signs seem to indicate the show will return this fall as planned. In fact, the Kardashians have even been filming new materials while quarantining at home!

Update: E! has since confirmed Keeping Up with the Kardashians will return Thursday, Sept. 17!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18 trailer

With KUWTK season 18 not expected to return until September, E! likely won’t release any new footage for the upcoming episodes of the season for a few more months. Although we’ll likely have to wait until late August or early September for our first official trailer for the season’s second half, E! released a short teaser for the second half of the season following the midseason finale.

While the teaser doesn’t feature much in terms of new footage, it does serve as a perfect tease for the final episodes of the season. Check it out below:

Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18 cast

Returning as part of the KUWTK season 18 cast are Kim and Khloe Kardashian as well as mom Kris Jenner, with the trio expected to headline the upcoming episodes.

Prior to the break, little sis Kylie Jenner began to make more regular appearances on the show. With Kourtney stepping back from filming, it’s likely Kylie will continue to make more appearances in the upcoming episodes which is something we can all get behind. It’s also likely we’ll see Kendall Jenner pop up from time to time as well.

Although Kourtney Kardashian has stepped back from the show, rumors have it she was among those in the family filming footage from home for the show. Although we don’t expect her to play a key role in the season, it is possible Kourt could still make a few appearances.

Finally, there’s Rob Kardashian. Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18 feuds

When KUWTK returns this fall for its newest batch of episodes, one thing fans can expect is for at least two members of the family to be feuding. As executive producer Farnaz Farjam revealed in an interview with Elle earlier this year, “Right before quarantine we had a couple of family members that weren’t seeing eye to eye on something.”

Although Farjam never revealed the idenities of which Kardashians might be feuding when the season begins, one strong possiblity is that the feud alluded to will be between Kylie and Kendall Jenner who seemed to be at odds right around the start of quarantine. It’s also quite possible the feud could be more Kim and Kourtney drama, though. While we’ll have to wait and see, one thing is certain is that plenty of drama awaits us when the season returns this fall.
