Rob Kardashian sparks pregnancy rumors with use of pregnant woman emoji

He might have only just recently returned to Instagram, but Rob Kardashian seems to have given fans plenty to speculate about!

On July 12, Rob took to Instagram where he posted a photo of his waist down in which he rocked a pair of purple shoes and navy shorts adorned with varying sea creatures. While the photo is far from buzzworthy, it’s the emojis Rob happened to use in the photo’s caption field that has fans talking: a pair of a pregnant woman and purple devil face emojis. So just what exactly could the emojis indicate or allude to?

Is Rob Kardashian expecting his second child?

Of course, it’s understandable that fans’ first instinct might be to question whether Rob’s use of the pregnant woman emoji was a subtle hint that perhaps he’d soon be adding to his family tree. It’s an easy assumption to jump to; however, it seems highly unlikely that Rob Kardashian is expecting another child.

Since his split from Blac Chyna, hasn’t quite dived back into the dating pool. While he’s rumored to have had some flings since their split, he doesn’t appear to be in any serious relationship. As such, it seems unlikely Rob is expecting another child. There is, however, another possible explanation for Rob’s use of the pregnant woman emoji: that he was attending a baby shower.

Khloe Kardashian throws a lamb-theme party

The same day of Rob Kardashian’s Instagram post, Rob’s sister Khloe Kardashian took to her Instagram stories where she posted a series of behind-the-scenes type photos of party decorations. In the photos, Khloe showcased a variety of pink floral arrangements, place settings with attendee names written in baby blocks and a variety of lamb themed desserts including cookies, cupcakes, and even cotton candy.

Although there was no mention of who the party was for or confirmation of the type of party being thrown, the decore seemed perfect for a baby shower. If this was indeed the case, Rob’s use of the pregnant woman emoji could have simply indicated he was among those on the guest list — after all, Khloe did send love back to Rob via the comments of his post.

Did Khloe Kardashian just throw herself a baby shower?

For months, rumors have been running rampant that Khloe Kardashian was perhaps expecting a second child with ex Tristan Thompson. Understandably, when fans saw the baby shower-like decorations on Khloe’s story, many jumped to conclusions as to whether the baby shower was thrown by Khloe for herself.

While it definitely seems as though the party was a baby shower of some kind, it’s unlikely the party was for Khloe. Sure, Khloe and Tristan have been spending a lot of time together in recent months and are on great terms, Khloe has been adamant she’s not expecting.
