Move over, Kylie Jenner! There’s a new influencer raking as the highest-paid star on Instagram, Dwayne Johnson

The back half of 2020 has not been too kind to Kylie Jenner (but really, has it been to any of us?). First, she is dethroned as a billionaire by Forbes in a he-said-she-said battle that is still happening. And now, the beauty mogul is no longer the top Instagram influences.

Before we feel too bad, let’s remember Kylie is still one of the richest in her family (and most families, if we’re being honest). And she’s still making a  pretty penny at Instagram! It may not be as much as Instagram’s new top influencer, but still!

On average, Kylie Jenner makes about a million dollars for each sponsored post. With over 186 million followers, it sounds about right! Kylie has a huge following, and you know her fans will listen to anything Kylie advertises on her page.

So who has taken Kylie Jenner’s spot? One of her sisters? A model? A TikTok Star? Nope. It’s none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson himself!

With an Instagram following of 190 million, I’d say The Rock can ask for a larger payday, and brands agree! According to Fox Business, The Rock is now worth over a million dollars per sponsored post.

The source also shares that this is the first time a Kardashian hasn’t been at the top of Instagram’s “Rich List.” Leave it to The Rock to take the crown.

In my humble opinion, The Rock does have a larger audience. Not so much because of the numbers, but of how more relatable the star is. More than anything, Dwayne Johnson is inspirational. He is always there to spread some much-needed motivation. Men and women look up to him, he is a dad so parents and younger children are familiar with him (hello, Moana).

Simply put, it’s easy to love Dwayne Johnson! But with the Kardashian-Jenner’s record of always being on top, do you think someone from the family will soon take over the spot? We’ll have to wait and see!
