Kanye West confirms new album after another Twitter meltdown

Kanye West announces that his tenth studio album Donda will be dropping Friday, July 24. The rapper broke the news after having yet another meltdown on Twitter, in which he mentioned his wife and mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.

Having never shied away from voicing his thoughts and feelings, Yeezy went on another Twitter vent session again on Tuesday. “Meek is my man and was respectful. That’s my dog. Kim was out of line. I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ, but y’all ain’t listen to MJ and now y’all believe them???” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

The Chicago rapper also shared another screenshot where he texted Kris Jenner, saying, “This Ye. You ready to talk now? Or are still avoiding my calls,” followed by another text reading, “This Ye. You wanna talk? Or go to war?”

After writing angrily about Kris and Kim, Ye also mentioned names such as Anna Wintour and Toronto-rapper Drake. Kris Jenner’s mother MJ was also brought up multiple times throughout the tweets.

“Ima focus on the music now. DONDA coming this Friday,” Ye announced Tuesday at the end of his rant. Kanye shared with us photos of what looks to be the tracklist of what will be his tenth album, and writing in the new font he created. Donda will come just a year after the scrapped project Yandhi was put out, which was renamed and reworked into Kanye’s album Jesus is King.

Kim Kardashian has finally broken her silence on his recent Tweets, displeased that personal information is being shared to his now 30.3 million followers, but asking for “compassion and empathy” from the media.  Mental health is a serious matter, and it’s no surprise that with the pressure of his massive audience the rapper feels stressed.

Having millions of eyes on him constantly can be draining, so it’s no surprise Kanye is going through a tough time. We can only hope that he receives the care and help that he needs.
