Angelina Jolie hoping to help Brad Pitt make nice with his kids

Brad Pitt might seem to have it all, but even the Oscar winner is not immune to personal problems and relationship struggles. While it’s been Brad’s public relationships and breakups with the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie that have often made headlines, in recent years the attention has shifted to his relationship with his kids — or lack thereof in this instance.

The downfall of Brad’s relationship with his kids has long been rumored to have reached its turning point in 2016, following a reported confrontation with the couple’s eldest son Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt. The incident is said to have created a rift between Brad and his kids and even Jolie has admitted to ending their relationship for the wellbeing of her family.

Since Pitt and Jolie ended their marriage, the two former lovebirds have gradually been working to improve upon their relationship. While it’s unlikely they’ll reconnect and give their relationship another shot, the exes have apparently reached a place where Jolie is now looking to help reunite her family.

According to a new report from Us Weekly, Angelina Jolie is hoping to be able to help her former husband Brad Pitt to mend fences with his estranged children including Maddox. As the report notes, Jolie is advocating for reconciliation between Pitt, Maddox and the couple’s other eldest kids Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt.

While it sounds like there is a lot of work to be had in working through the issues of their past, it’s wonderful to see Jolie looking to do her part to help their kids repair their relationship with Pitt. We can only hope that Pitt meets Jolie halfway and puts in the effort to make up for the mistakes of his past in order to reestablish a better relationship with his kids.
