Poor Rob Kardashian can’t seem to catch a break.

For years, Rob has played second fiddle to his famous sisters and momager, choosing to take a back seat to his family’s larger personalities and opting to stray away from the public eye when possible. As a result, Rob isn’t typically the first (or second) Kardashian that comes to mind when someone mentions the name Kardashian.

While Rob might not be quite as influential or have as large a social following as his sisters, one thing that Rob shares with his sisters is the fact that they often serve as low-hanging fruit for pop culture related jokes.

Our latest example of pop culture having some fun at the Kardashian family’s expense comes via the newest trailer for Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot, which couldn’t help itself from taking a jab at Rob’s status within the Kardashian hierarchy.

Rob Kardashian’s status as a true Kardashian called into question

In the new trailer, we meet Bayside’s newest students including Mitchell Hoogs’ Mac Morris, the charming son of governor Zack Morris, and Josie Totah’s Lexi, a sharp-tongued cheerleader at the top of the Bayside High’s food chain.

During a snippet in the trailer, Lexi brags that she has a Kardashian coming at lunch to which Mac quips, “Who, Rob?”

This leads an angered and upset Josie to clap back that “He is still in their family.”

The joke clearly seems to make it seem like Rob isn’t a true Kardashian, poking fun at the Kardashian’s one and only brother and his status as a Kardashian. It’s clear the joke was written in good fun and we have to admit we enjoyed a good laugh at the exchange.
