Good news, lifelong Wizards of Waverly Place fanatics!

Selena Gomez and David Henrie have joined forces once again for a little onscreen/selfie magic, reports People. Over the weekend, the former child co-stars shared a teaser with fans for what might just be the sparkly new project fans have been waiting for.

Their Disney Channel days began in 2007, lasting four fantastical seasons. Flash forward to 2020 and one things for sure: Justin and Alex Russo are definitely not kid wizards anymore!

Also of note, the teaser video which you can see below was carefully (and cleverly) shot from a safe social distance.

Henrie previously claimed that he and Selena have wanted to reunite on set for some time, telling Entertainment Tonight (per People):

“Selena and I have a reboot. We sit and talk about it all the time. It’s not formal, but Selena and I sit and we talk about what would the reboot be. We have a whole take. We have a whole thing.”

Henrie also recently met up with former cast mates Jennifer Stone and Gregg Sulkin, and seemingly discussed a reboot. On Instagram, Sulkin shared a photo of the Wizards of Waverly Place reunion, writing, “Getting the cast back together NEW VIDEO IS LIVE!!! (link in my bio!!) *comment on the channel if you want a reboot!”

And poof! Yay-saying comments for the Wizards of Waverly Place reboot continued to pour in.

As the People notes, the gang got together for Sulkin’s YouTube channel as well for a reminiscent look down memory lane and for a game of trivia based on the series to see who’s the wiz kid now.

And if this latest teaser from Selena and David tells us anything, it’s that these wiz kids haven’t lost their magic touch! Here’s to hoping they let us in on the details of their project ASAP.
