Kylie Jenner is gearing up and glamming up for a new kind of TV debut thanks to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, reports People.
The 23-year-old makeup mogul guest stars on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s new Quibi show, About Face. And if you haven’t heard about the project yet, don’t worry. The buzz is just beginning.
While discussing the six-episode series, the supermodel revealed her inspiration for the project, explaining, “The beauty industry has had such a shift over the last few years. And in many cases, the disruptors are women,” adding, “I just really wanted the opportunity to sit with all of these people and learn from them myself.”
And the premise is pretty adorable as well. As People notes, Rosie conducts in-depth interviews with some very big names in the world of beauty moguls, including Kylie Jenner. The goal? Rosie says the aim is to learn how big companies like Glossier and Kylie Cosmetics came to be, uncovering how these women built their independent brands on their own and began reconstructing the beauty industry for the better.
In fact, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley claims that About Face and the independent beauty movement have both been a long time coming, as she told People, “I’m always fascinated by entrepreneurship. That’s something that’s inherent in who I am, and I love to tell stories as well. I love to sit and talk to people about their own journeys.” She added that there is “always something to learn.”
Rosie also credits COVID-19 quarantine for allowing enough thinking space for everyone’s creative juices at Rosie Inc. to flow.
We can’t wait to discover which of Kylie’s billion-dollar beauty secrets will be revealed when we tune in. About Face is out on Quibi now!
