Rob Kardashian wears a mask in a selfie, something his sisters have failed to do

Rob Kardashian has done something his Instagram savvy sisters have failed to do in recent months: Post a selfie rocking a facial covering mask.

Since the beginning of the ongoing pandemic, the Kardashian family has used their social media platforms to encourage followers to follow the various stay-at-home orders and safety guidelines released by the CDC. As time progressed, they lessened their reminders and calls to action and even found themselves in hot water for not abiding by guidelines themselves.

Another interesting item that the Kardashian sisters have failed to do — a rare exception being Kourtney Kardashian — is rock a protective face mask in any of the countless Instagram selfies posted nearly daily to their social pages. Fear not, though, as their brother Rob has stepped out to show his sisters how to rock a face mask in a selfie!

Taking to his Instagram, Rob rocked a vibrant blue facial mask which seems to have been color coorrindated to match the baby blue tee and grey blue hoodie he’s seen rocking in the shot. Captioning the photo, “We back,” Rob continued to wow fans with his weight loss journey as even with a mask covering his face fans were quick to recognize Rob’s slimmer facial profile.

While posting a selfie while wearing a mask might seem like nothing unusual, it’s something that has been a bit foreign to the Kardashians who have strayed away from rocking any face masks in any of their Insta selfies.

If Rob’s selfie proves anything, it’s that you can still look incredible while rocking a face mask and doing so can also be a subtle way of encouraging followers to do the same. Let’s just hope Rob’s sisters might take inspiration from their little brother and embrace the face mask selfie!
