Scott Disick unfollows Sofia Richie on Instagram making their breakup official

It seems Scott Disick has finally taken a major step in formalizing his breakup with Sofia Richie, seeming to put to bed rumors of their reconciliation with a simple, yet effective tool: the dreaded social media unfollow.

In late May, reports broke that Scott and Sofia had decided to go their separate ways after three years together. While there was a lot of speculation as to why the couple called it quits, neither Scott nor Sofia ever formally addressed their breakup which led many to question whether there was still hope for the couple.

As July rolled around, it was starting to look like those hoping to see Scott and Sofia reunite would get their wish as rumors swirled the two were seen together around the Fourth of July holiday. Unfortunately, things don’t seem to have quite worked out for the couple as made evident by Scott’s latest move on social media.

Clearly ready to move on and put his relationship with Sofia behind him, Scott has formally unfollowed Sofia on Instagram. Of course, unfollowing someone on social media is one of the easiest ways to make a public statement regarding a change in a relationship without having to technically say a word.

Does Sofia Richie still follow Scott Disick and the Kardashians?

Interestingly, while Scott Disick has made a point to formally unfollow Sofia on his Instagram account, Sofia hasn’t yet made any major changes to her social media account. That’s right, as of Aug. 17, Sofia is still following Scott on Instagram.

In fact, not only is Sofia still following Scott on Instagram, but she continues to follow several members of the Kardashian family including Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian. (For those curious, Sofia also follows Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.)
