Alex Light comes to Khloe Kardashian’s defense with statement of support
When it comes to the Kardashians, media and fans have always had hot takes and opinions on any and everything the family does. However, there’s no denying that Khloe Kardashian has long been the most scrutinized member of the family.
From harsh commentary from Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans to even harsher remarks from tabloids, Khloe has weathered quite a lot of negative comments over the years for her looks. No matter how stunning and incredible Khloe looks — seriously, Khloe has always been beautiful just as she is! — the media and social media trolls always seem to find something negative to pick at.
While Khloe has proved she’s never afraid to clap back at trolls, she at times can’t help but over-edit some of her photos. This was never more evident than earlier this year when Khloe posted an Instagram photo in which she was nearly unrecognizable.
In recent weeks, the unfiltered version of Khloe’s selfie has come to light via new KUWTK promo which has left Khloe in hot water and receiving backlash for her editing. However, body positivity influencer Alex Light is coming to Khloe’s defense!

Responding to the photoshop scandal, Alex took to Instagram where she rightfully took aim at the world around us and the way women are judged by their looks.
"“We live in a world where, for women, aesthetics are valued above all else – especially celebrities, their looks are their currency, their worth. And when they don’t look how society demands them to? That then becomes their identity. They are mocked and ridiculed and humiliated and singled out. “"
Rather than shaming Khloe, Alex made it clear that Khloe doesn’t deserve shame for her photoshopping. Instead of shaming Khloe, she instead encourages followers to realize Khloe isn’t the problem.
"“To shun the ‘oh isn’t Khloe awful for doing that to her pictures?’ or ‘HAHA look at that, how embarrassing!’ rhetoric and realize that she isn’t the problem behind this. Society is. And we all have the power to change that. ”"
