Pretty soon, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky will be celebrating ten years as husband and wife. Oh, how time flies (and how some celebrities never age!)

To the masses, the lovey-dovey couples’ marriage looks picture perfect on the red carpet and on social media. However, Hemsworth’s wife just got real with the media, revealing that their relationship hasn’t always been a cake walk, reports E! News.

The gorgeous model/actress recently let it be known that the couple is far from perfect, admitting to the Australian publication Body + Soul, “It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way. It’s been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship, adding, “I think a relationship is constant work.” Amen to that.

Through all of those aforementioned “ups and downs” they shared, Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth grew to share much more, becoming parents and now raising an eight-year-old daughter and six-year-old twins together.

While consistently working on their nearly decade-long marriage may not have made their relationship “perfect,” Pataky says it definitely made it stronger. She elaborated on a key trick to making her relationship with the Thor actor work for the long haul, telling Body + Soul, “I always try to see the positives of things.”

As for other keys to making it work, Elsa says playing together definitely serves a role in staying together, sharing that they, “love to do sports, eat healthy and move our bodies.” She elaborated with:

"We’ve got the kids into surfing. Any hobbies to get them outside, and not on social media and computers. My daughter has been [horseback riding] with me since she was two-and-a-half."

So okay, okay—maybe Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky aren’t the perfect couple with the perfect marriage. Frankly, who has that? But even still, the fans continue to argue that these two come pretty dang close.

And we’d tend to agree.
