Khloe and Kim Kardashian grieve the death of Chadwick Boseman

On Aug. 28, 2020, actor Chadwick Boseman passed away after a four-year battle with colon cancer. The Black Panther and 42 actor’s unexpected and untimely passing shocked the world, leaving fans in disbelief and heartbroken over the loss of a true changemaker in the industry.

In wake of Boseman’s passing, fans and Hollywood’s elite alike have flooded to social media to honor the man responsible for gifting audiences with some of the greatest performances of our generation including that of T’Challa in Black Panther. Among those grieving Boseman’s sudden passing are Khloe and Kim Kardashian, who joined the masses in honoring the fallen hero.

“Rest peacefully Chadwick Boseman,” Kim wrote in a simple message which she would later follow-up writing “Just heartbreaking” in retweeting a snippet from an old interview with a HuffPost writer. Kim capped off her trio of tweets with a retweet of a touching tribute shared by director Ava DuVernay.

In addition to Kim, Khloe Kardashian was also quick to respond to Boseman’s passing with a heartfelt message. Responding to Boseman’s death, Khloe extended her condolences and prayers to Boseman’s family and loved ones while also encouraging her followers not to take one day for granted.

"“Beyond heartbreaking to hear about  Chadwick Boseman passing away. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and the ones who are hurting. May God bless us all and May we learn to not take a day for granted. Rest In Peace King!”"

Joining his sisters, Rob Kardashian took to Instagram with a remembrance post of his own designed to celebrate Boseman. “Rest In Peace & Love FOREVER,” Rob wrote, a photo of Boseman in character as Black Panther accompanying the tribute.
