Here are some reasons why Keeping Up with the Kardashians is ending after 20 seasons

Khloe Kardashian was the first of the Kardashian-Jenner family to announce that the longtime running reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was ending after 20 seasons.

At first, we didn’t want to believe it! As much as we see the famous family on social media, partnering up with different businesses, making headlines, and more, it’s the reality series that we look forward to the most.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians allows fans a real and raw view of the family. We also love how they don’t hold anything back! The show has featured them at their best, and at their worst. But when Kim Kardashian and other sources began to also share the news, we knew better than to stay in denial.

It’s important to note that this wasn’t E! call, from the announcement, it appears the family came together to chat about this and made the difficult decision to call it quits after 20 drama-packed seasons. There are several factors that likely contributed to this decision.

Why is Keeping Up with the Kardashians ending?

1. The Kardashian-Jenner kids

What came to mind first are the kids. Many thought they would see North West, Stormi Webster, and the other kiddos growing up in front of the cameras, but we should have known their parents weren’t about to let this happened.

Simply put, it’s too dangerous and the family knows this. It’s a matter of privacy. Kendall and Kylie know this better than anyone and likely don’t want the same for their kids and nieces and nephews.

2. Kanye West

Okay, not exactly Kanye West alone, but he pretty much sums up unnecessary drama. Kanye West clearly doesn’t hesitate to air his dirty laundry and I’m sure is also not a fan of the show. He even called out E! for not allowing Kim Kardashian to leave California due to filming.

Kanye isn’t very stable and Kim understandably wants to be closer to him, as well as be together as a family. Needless to say, I doubt we’ll see Kanye’s breakdown in an episode.

3. Khloe and Tristan

Khloe fans aren’t fond of Tristan Thompson. Heck, the world isn’t a fan of Tristan. The only people who were quick to forgive him and welcome him back to the family, are the Kardashian-Jenners. As soon as there were rumors that Khloe may be pregnant, haters showed up from all corners of the internet.

My guess is that Khloe wants to be left alone with Tristan and live a more private life. Displaying everything on the show has not been working out.

4. Kourtney Kardashian

Let’s be honest, Kourtney’s heart hasn’t been in the series for years now. She’s done with the drama, the filming schedule, and, to put it in her words “the negative energy” surrounding the show.

I’m not saying that KUWTK couldn’t have gone on without her, but I kind of am! Without Kourtney, who would provide the sarcastic remarks? Kim and Khloe would need to film more or bring in other siblings and friends, which brings up our final reason…

5. Different schedules

The family couldn’t even get together for Christmas morning, how were they supposed to film more episodes? The number of episodes has also been less and less. Each sister is busy with their family and individual businesses, and things weren’t about to get easier.
