How did each of the Kardashians react to KUWTK ending?

Each of the Kardashians reacted to KUWTK ending differently with some taking the decision much harder than others. 

Just over a week before Keeping Up with the Kardashians was set to return for its newest original episodes, the Kardashian family shocked fans in announcing KUWTK would be ending after its 20th season in 2021. It was news that took many by surprise and has left fans with a multitude of reactions.

The family tried to make the announcement as personal as possible by being the ones to share the decision with fans, going as far as releasing an emotional joint statement across social media. However, just because the statement was co-signed by the various members of the family, doesn’t mean that they’ve all reacted to KUWTK ending in the same way.

How did the Kardashians react to KUWTK ending?

For momager Kris Jenner, the decision did not come easily, but she seems to be in good spirits about the decision to end the show by focusing on the positive.

"“We are so beyond grateful to everyone who has watched and supported our family these past 14 incredible years.” Kris posted in reacting to the news. “We will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever. Thank you for joining us on this crazy ride!!”"

Similar to mom Kris, Kim Kardashian isn’t harping on the negative but is instead in good spirits about the decision, choosing to focus on all the doors the show opened for her.

"“Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years,” Kim wrote on Instagram. “This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”"

While Kim and Kris seem to be taking the decision to bring the series to an end in stride, the same can’t be said for Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian who have each had varying reactions to the news.

Shortly after word of KUWTK ending broke, Kourtney took to Instagram where she seemed to hint that she was struggling with the decision to end the show. Although she’s had a rocky history with the show, it seems Kourtney isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the show. “I will gather my thoughts and share them in a bit…” Kourtney wrote, clearly at a loss for words.

And then there’s Khloe, who seems to struggling the most with the decision to bring the show to a close.

Sure Khloe might have put on a brave face when breaking the news to fans, but according to reports Khloe is devasted about the show’s cancellation and cried for days after the news was made official. But hey, can anyone honestly blame her?
